Meet the Principal

Meredith Boucher, Principal

Ms. Boucher is honored to serve as the principal at Madison Elementary School. She has more than 20 years of experience in education in District 742. She has served as a teacher at North Junior High School, academic coach at North and Talahi Community School, assistant principal at Madison Elementary School and principal at Clearview Elementary School before coming back to Madison. She is passionate about focusing on excellence for all the students and families she serves. 

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Certification from Bemidji State University. Ms. Boucher then attended Saint Mary’s University, where she earned a master’s degree and principal license. 

She and her husband have three children who have benefited from a strong educational experience in St. Cloud Area School District. She loves to spend time with family, crafting, time on the water and playing cribbage.

 

Jean Voigt, Assistant Principal

Ms. Voigt is honored to serve as the assistant principal at Madison Elementary School. She brings over nine years of experience in the St. Cloud Area School District, where she has taught grades 2 through 5, including a memorable year teaching a 4/5 combination class. Her passion for education is rooted in a commitment to student growth, equity and building strong school communities.

She earned both her teaching license and school principal license through St. Cloud State University. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Culturally Responsive Practices from the College of St. Scholastica, further strengthening her dedication to inclusive and student-centered learning environments.

She resides in St. Cloud with her husband and their two youngest children. As she begins her new role, she looks forward to listening to and learning all about what is important to the Madison school community. She is committed to building relationships and trust through open communication and shared goals.
